I had good memories of this place from a few years ago, it is a nice space with great design, but I went recently on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and our kids, hoping to have afternoon tea and ‘gouter’. However this time was a big disappointment, there was nothing much to eat apart from very expensive slices of cake (too expensive) so we had to go and find a boulangerie after having a drink. Above all got really frustrated with the far too loud music. We couldn’t hear ourselves talk, it was a like a bar in the evening, rather than afternoon tea with kids atmosphere. We asked several times if they could turn the music down a little bit were ignored. Our kids ended up asking everyone in the place if they agreed that the music was too loud and if they wished to turn it down, they received overwhelming support and still our request was ignored. From the beginning of organising the event months before right until the end of the evening, the staff were incredibly helpful, thoughtful, friendly and accommodating.
