I have been hesitating to post a review or not but the truth is that looking at the one star reviews I feel better because it seems we were not the only ones to have a bad experience.
First, I tried to call the day before to do a reservation and they were hanging the phone all the time. Funny to see there were some reservations the day we arrived, wonder how they managed.
We ordered several bottles of wine to celebrate a reunion with friends and I can understand the price of the bottles of wine, but after some time we were denied a couple of slices of bread they were serving to the other tables because they "didn't have much left". Understandable but we are also clients that ordered quite some stuff to be denied literally two slices of bread lol...
Also, the attitude of one of the waiters was quite arrogant: Saying "Too late now" when I asked for the receipt when I paid, not even a single smile in the entire evening... My recommendation is that if you don't like talking to people, at least try to be polite.

So we asked nicely to give us time to choose and guess what they never came back so we decided to leave. Total we waited for 40 minutes for NOTHING. I was super disappointed I will never...
Read moreAfter a disappointing experience at the wine bar next door, we decided to give Chez Lui a try—and we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a cheerful, relaxed vibe that instantly lifted our spirits.
Our waitress was kind, attentive, and took the time to guide us through a few wine options before we settled on a bottle we really enjoyed. Her warmth and helpfulness made a big difference.
Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend stopping by Chez Lui for a laid-back, enjoyable...
