This is a hard review to write. We absolutely LOVED Los Güeros last time we were there right before confinement, mid-March 2020. It was insanely tasty, the carnitas tacos were among the best we ever tasted, and the service was as amazing as the food. A+ Tex Mex experience in Paris, great stuff. The food didn't change much, still amazing, but when we arrived recently on a Friday evening around 8 PM, we had to wait a solid 10 minutes to get our order in, and then they just forgot about us for 30 more minutes. We had something else planned after so we had to gulp everything down, and left disappointed in what was otherwise one of our favorite restaurant experiences of recent memory when we got there in March. Oh and skip the veggie taco. It's decent, but it's not their forte. Again, everything else is amazing, so do go there ! I wish them all the best things in the world for the summer, and I know we'll be back soon to give it...
Read moreI'm very particular about my Mexican food because I lived in Mexico so I'm biased. I wasn't expecting authentic Mexican but was hoping for close to authentic because of the reviews. I took two bites out of my large tacos and stopped eating. This may be acceptable for the locals but sadly it's a hard no for me.
The service was great and the spot is cute. I wish them continued success!
Added April 15: I appreciate the response but I stand by my original review. I loathe Tex-Mex and refuse to eat it. I've lived in Mexico City, traveled all over the country and I currently live in a household with my father-in-law, who is Mexican and a mother-in-law who also lived in Cuernavaca with him and was taught how to cook traditional Mexican food by his mother.
I'm sorry that my review was disappointing to you but the meal was the same for me. I still wish you...
Read moreFINALLY! I found a good Taco spot in Paris. Every other place in this city, serves a horrible European version of a taco.
This place serves the real deal. 👏
CAUTION: While serving myself the green salsa (a taco is not a taco without salsa) the bottle lid exploded and all of the salsa fell on my food.
Luckily, I was taught how to eat tacos by Emilio Zapata & Montezuma, inside of a volcano in Mexico. Which is why I was able to survive this accident, with all of my senses intact.
However, if this happened to you (a little girl) you would not be able to eat your food. Because you are not a true Aztec warrior like me 😂
So beware. Eat these delicious tacos, CAUTIOUSLY. Because you’ll never be as manly as me. (Including everyone in the...
