DO & Coco — Restaurant in Paris

One of my favorite restaurants in Paris. It’s across the way from Do & Riz, their other location with slightly different options. I frequent both locations because everything I’ve tried on their menu is amazing. Bursting with flavor, fresh, and authentic dishes every single time!

Last night, I noticed my favorite server (I wish I knew her name but she is the kindest most hospitable server) was working at Do & Coco alone, so I opted to go there. She recommended the porc haché and I don’t even eat meat usually, but I trust her so much. Wow, it didn’t not disappoint! So delicious and filling, not super spicy, despite the spicy symbol on the menu! I also had their homemade infusion ginger honey infusion tea, which is incredible.

I finished my meal off with their crème de lait de coco, which is a coconut milk tapioca pudding, with mango, banana, and sesame seeds. I dream about this dessert often.

C'est difficile a Paris de trouver un restaurant vietnamien qui n'est pas "dilué" dans les recettes passe-partout asiatiques de type traiteur. A vrai dire, Do et Coco propose ce dernier également avec un mode de cuisine bien soigné. Mais ce qui me tient le coeur est ses recettes plat du jour typiquement vietnamiennes sans oublier un retouch de fusion pour satisfaire aux clients. Je me retrouve donc les repas de la famille au pays en plein quartier 12e parisien. Surprise !! Un service tres effiace et rapide que ce soit a emporter ou sur place. Essayez prendre une place pres de la cuisine pour sentir un peu de l'ambiance streetfood, incontournable de l'esprit vietnamien. Pas besoin d'étoile Michelin parce qu'on est chez nous, chez Do mais non...
