Food is okay and very authentic. I came to this restaurant following my friend's recommendation. However what's shocking me is they only take reservation online (understandable) but we have to enter our bank card details and if we don't appear 10 Euros will be charged… I understand the reservation logic but are restaurants allowed to take our bank card details? Is there a law authorizing the restaurant to do so? It shocked me as after all the restaurants I went in France this is the only one who does this practice…(not even happened for any michelin level restaurants). However the service is very normal, we asked for some black pepper and salt and even when we finished the pizza they still didn't give us whereas the waiters didn't seem to be busy and they were chatting happily. If the customers don't come to the reservation normally they would call to cancel it. Reasons for it are my expectations were so hyped by the many positive reviews, the elaborate booking system that blocks your credit card for no show (fancy!) and the overall efforts put on branding and design of the restaurant.
At the end I am a real real fan of Napolitanian Pizza and been to Napoli many times and I kind of expected to have a good Buffala Pizza but instead I got a soaked Tomato Pizza with burned boarders which is really disappointing. I didn't find the taste of each ingredient special at all. Honestly, I was really sad hahah
