Hidden gem of a park in the 15th arrondissement. It is surprisingly large, possibly the biggest of the small parks in Paris. There is the lake, the marionette theatre, the merry go round, the real theatre, the pony rides, the vineyard, the apiary, the playgrounds, the table tennis tables - the list goes on. Once a year it is home to the George Brassens weekend, and the park historically is the location of one of the biggest meat markets in Paris. Located on the old railway - now known as the coulee verte - this was one of the main supply railways in Paris, and led for example to the Citroen factory by the Seine, and is now a covered walkway. At the north gate there are statues of cows, and at the east end there is a statue of a butcher carrying a side of beef. And every Saturday and Sunday in the old covered market is the antique book fair. Surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants. It's easy to...

Parc Georges-Brassens is a tranquil oasis in the heart of Paris, offering a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The well-manicured gardens, serene ponds, and charming walking paths make this park a delightful spot for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon picnic. The lush greenery and diverse plant life create a soothing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. Whether you are looking to read a book under a shady tree, practice yoga on the open lawns, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment in the fresh air, Parc Georges-Brassens provides a serene and picturesque setting for visitors of all...

This is a nice walking park for a relaxing stroll. It can be a little busy as there are lots of joggers & commuters, but not enough to be bothersome. In season, there are some beautiful flowers as well as a fairly well tended pond with some water fowl hanging around. The clock tower/restroom is the most engaging public restroom I have seen and make sure to walk through and around the back to be able to access the upper level. The rock jumble area and playground would be perfect to allow kids to romp. This is a great spot to relax.

I was disappointed from the works around around the pound area which ruins the view and you can not sit nearby the water and the clock area. The rocks to climb are very entertaining like a climbing wall for an activity for the kids . 4 playground area are available for kids to enjoy . A pic nic area tables is available. Park is not very big which is practical. When it gets sunny u can not find shades to watch ur kids . Enjoyable experience as an overall

A beautiful park which not only brings forward a well-arranged structure through an arrangement of fountains, buildings and ponds or even the wonderful presence of Jazz clubs every sunday, but also offers a sense of openness and authentic nature through the trees and the many footpaths and places of interests which can be found all around the park, even off-bounds
