Hoa Nam Traiteur — Restaurant in Paris

If you’re craving an authentic Bánh mì in Paris, make your way to Chinatown in the 13th arrondissement, or consider yourself lucky if you’re already nearby. Hoa Nam is the real deal. Their house-baked baguettes are perfectly crisp on the outside, airy on the inside, and the fillings are fresh, flavorful, and generous.

We tried the Sandwich Spécial Vietnamien and the Sandwich au Bœuf à la Citronnelle, both were absolutely delicious, and at prices that are almost unheard of in Paris. We were so busy devouring our sandwiches that we completely forgot to take a photo, so just imagine the perfect bánh mì, but better.

The BBQ pork rice was another highlight, instantly transporting me back to the taste of a top-notch Chinese BBQ spot in Hong Kong.

They also offer a variety of grab-and-go options like Vietnamese Bún, which looked just as tempting. And yes, the lady at the cashier might seem a little antsy when things get busy, but don’t take it personally. That’s just part of the authentic Asian hospitality package: fast, efficient, and with a side of “next, please!” energy.

Very bad service and they don't pay attention to sanitation at all. They usde the rag which is used to clean the table to wipe my food. I saw it and asked to change the food. They were really not willing to do that. And the woman cashier was really not care at all, she even was very unfriendly to me because I delayed her business. I mainly wanted to write this review to note how nice their service was. Even though we don't speak French, they went out of their way to take care of my family.
