Khao Tip — Restaurant in Paris

The chef is an adorable woman and her cooking is very authentic. Sadly this is overshadowed by the owner/server who is incredibly rude and charges the client an "extra supplement" when the client makes a booking via The Fork or Google Reservations.

When arriving at the restaurant, the server asked us why we booked on the Fork. I explained that since I was dining with a friend, we wanted to reserve in advance. He told us that the Fork are thieves and they charge 3 euros commission per person and that we should not use the Fork for bookings at his restaurant. He was quite upset and so I told him that I could cancel the Fork booking even though we were there. He said we couldn't do that and then we proceeded to order. At the end of the meal, we saw an extra charge of 4 euros on our bill for tea x 2. We told him that we only ordered one tea and that there was an error. He said that since we had booked on the Fork and that the Fork charges him a commision, he passed on the extra charge to us and added another four euros onto our bill. We explained that the Fork provides marketing for his business and that cost was to him and not the client and he said that the fork does "n'importe quoi" that they don't do anything for him and we as the client are responsible for paying the commissions that he was charged. He said that it is our fault for booking on theFork.

To avoid further drama, we paid the extra commission to him and left the restaurant feeling quite abused.

We will not be going back to such a dishonest...

Amazing little Thai place! The owner is from Cambodia and runs the restaurant with his wife. We came in early around 6:30 and were the only people in the restaurant. He immediately treated us like family and gave us phenomenonal service. I highly recommend ordering the duck and the pad Thai. You won't be disappointed! I came here during my weekend trip to Paris and so glad we came across this restaurant. The food was amazing and portion size was generous. If I were in the area again in the future I’d would 100% visit again. The lady work (I think the owner) was very lovely and accommodating.

Can’t remember the prices but very reasonably priced.

We came close to closing and was grateful to be able to dine so late. At the time we went it was quiet but lovely...
