L'Armandie - Restaurant Fruits de Mer Paris 15 — Restaurant in Paris

This restaurant was close to our hotel and also had the cutest ambiance in the neighborhood. It is in a quite courtyard with both inside and outside seating. We went a little to early for dinner at 5:30pm (dinner is open at 7pm) but the waiter was super friendly and gave apologies. We decided to go back at 7pm for dinner. Our waiter David was super nice and although our French is not the best he was gracious and told us we could order in English. I had the fish and frites and my husband had moussaka. The fish and frites must be popular because I noticed a lot of tables around us order the same thing. Although David and the restaurant were busy with full tables we did not have to wait long for our food or wine. Both dishes and our wine were delicious! It was so much food we could not fit dessert. We highly recommend eating at L’Armandie if you are in the area. It’s not expensive and the food is great! Ps. Walk a couple blocks after dinner to Novotel Hotel to their rooftop bar for drinks. Not a good experience. Service was atrocious, we ordered the sole which was presented extremely hard, obviously not defrosted fully, it was sent back twice and still came out cold and even though it was promised to be taken off the bill, we were charged for it. Very disappointing and subpar service. On top of that the seats were dirty, the decor also is in need of a lift. This however wouldn't have been so much of a bother had they been a bit more gracious about their clumsy food preparation with no apology or reduction off the bill.
