Appalling and unprofessional behaviour from Farid at the reception. We called reception earlier in the day to enquire about whether the hotel could provide us with slippers and toothbrushes but were told we had to go downstairs to reception to pick these up. On arrival at reception we were told that these amenities were not available however the receptionist Juliana kindly reassured us that she would make a note of this and that she would obtain these from the partner hotels by this evening.

On arrival this evening we encountered this slimy receptionist Farid who was on a video call with someone on his personal phone. We told him about our earlier request and how we spoke to the day receptionist who had left a note of our amenities ("slippers" and "toothbrush"). He simply shrugged his shoulders dismissively and said "well not my problem no toothbrush. no solution", stared blankly at us and expected us to move on. We raised concern about his attitude because whilst we can (rather frustratingly and inexcusably for a 4-star hotel) understand why no toothbrushes were available, we expressed that we would have preferred to be informed about this earlier so that we could have stopped by a supermarket to pick these up. We told him we were unhappy about his dismissive attitude and that he could have at least offered a solution.

We then asked him for some water as the room only provides you with a small bottle. He said that the room already has water, to which we responded that we had already finished it. He then sighed, rolled his eyes and said "ptain" (f** in French). We expressed concern over him swearing at hotel guests and asked for his name so we could report him to the hotel's higher management. He refused to give us his name, and instead gave us Juliana's name, insinuating that she was the cause of our problems. We expressed concern with this. He became extremely agitated and threatened to call the police on us because we tried to record the incident of him yelling at us and being aggressive towards us.

We had to pry the information on where to buy our toothbrushes, as well as his name, from him. We accidentally dropped the bottle of water as it was a cold and slippery and he accused us of doing this on purpose. If one were to review a recorded CCTV footage of this it would be obvious that this was a mistake (and I challenge hotel management to do this).

What kind of establishment would accuse hotel guests of making up the fact that we don't have water? This is filtered tap water at the end of the day, and irrespective of the cost of water, you don't question hotel guests when they ask for a drink.

Farid's appalling conduct is an embarrassment to your establishment. Accusing guests of lying, cursing at them, and showing outright hostility is completely unacceptable. This man should not be anywhere near the...

I had an absolute wonderful experience at this hotel; one of the best with my travels. I thought to treat myself in Paris with a nicer place and I was able to stay a night at this hotel for a very reasonable rate. The staff member, Yulia, was happy to answer my questions and assist me, which gave me a great impression of friendliness before I even arrived. The room was absolutely wonderful; cozy, and it has everything you need. Most importantly - the vibe and atmosphere, with the wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from the top floor. I had hoped for this from my Paris experience and this hotel delivered beyond what I had come here expecting. It is located in an area well connected with public transport (except late in the night); walkable distance from the Eiffel Tower (you can see it and just follow the road). It’s near the main road but tucked in a quieter street so the perfect blend of suburban while being in the city centre. In fact, the room was so nice I would have almost wanted to just move in there permanently. Definitely two of the best nights I’ve spent on my Europe trip.

A couple minor details; but nothing that majorly detracted from the experience: there were some small strange stains on the sheets, perhaps not properly cleaned out the keys are a bit fiddly, it took quite a few rotations to unlock the door. lift is small, but they state this upfront on their website, and I saw that the staff member was happy to help someone with luggage.

I think this place is a perfect example of ‘the little things count’, the management clearly considers delivering the best guest experience to the guests; I especially appreciate the little tea bags and additions in the room, and the tea time is a great touch - the cream cheese and scallion is simple but some of the best French finger food ever. All the staff members were very helpful and in general very well supplied when I needed a couple extra amenities, and this went a long way. I would definitely want to swing back here the next time I’m back in Paris (I will be!) and I’d definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for the...

After booking this hotel we immediately realized we had made a mistake as we were quoted in USD rather than CAD for which we always book with Expedia. After contacting Expedia immediately to cancel, The hotel would not allow this. Both the hotel and Expedia pointed the finger at each other . It cost us 320CAD a night for a 3 star hotel. We had booked for 5 nights. |When re arrived just prior to 6pm the manager told us our room was not ready as they were not expecting us, despite that we had already paid and it was non refundable. |Kudos to the hotel manager and the desk agent for offering us breakfast that wasn't included in the rate. We had to wait over an hour for them to make up our room into a twin so wasn't able to get in till after 7 pm. |The breakfast was the same everyday so for longer stays, it became mundane. There are other options nearby. However the joyful breakfast lady from Haiti( sorry I forgot her name) seem to be the most customer service orientated of all the staff and she made our morning except on our last day when she was away and the other lady was there who didn't seem to take care and breakfast area was a mess. | |Do not book with Expedia as they would not take any responsibility as the desk agent at the hotel would have cancelled the room had Expedia communicated to them in more detail rather than saying we just needed to cancel. The manager said that Expedia was the worst of 3rd party booking sights that they have dealt with. |We tried to get some renumeration from Expedia when we got back home. |Expedia's customer service quality and communication seems to have greatly declined overall. This was shocking to us as inn the past our experience with Expedia has been positive. |This whole booking and experience was a gong show and the most I have ever paid for a 3 star hotel that isn't even located in a tourist area. |They just don't seem to understand customer service or have been to other 3 star hotels that offer...

I stayed in the Standard Double Room for five days and four nights in this hotel for May 18-22, 2024. 「Hotel Val Gerald」was the previous name, but now it has been renamed 「Hotel Beauregard」.The receptionists were nice, except for a long-haired black woman with tied hair, she was rude and impolite. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was below the standard. There are obvious stains on the towels and also bed sheet, the bathroom hygiene was also poor, with a strange smell. In addition, the sanitary condition of the small refrigerator and the electric blower were also poor. There are obvious stains in the refrigerator, and the electric blower was full of dust. I believe it has never been cleaned, and I felt very disgusting. In the other hand, although there is a window in the room, the flowers by the window were full of mosquitoes. When you opened the window, the mosquitoes would fly into your room and felt not very good. This hotel basically not like a hotel, just an inn. The room not bright enough, it was dark. Also, when you walked in the room, you would hear the sound of wood rubbing on the ground, and you would also hear the sound of walking passengers upstairs. The sound insulation was very poor. The city tax fee was charged at EURO8.13 per person in this hotel. The city tax of the other hotel I have booked near by Disney is only needed EURO3.90 person. I really doubt why the city tax fee of each hotel is different charged. The only advantage of the hotel I think is that it is very closed to the Eiffel Tower, which is just needed 30-40-minute walk. This so-called hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in my life. In the next time , if I go to Paris again, I believe I will choose other better hotels.

My recent stay at Hôtel Beauregard exceeded all expectations! Originally booked for a standard single room, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to their classic double room - the spacious layout allowed me to fully unpack my luggage (a rare luxury in Parisian hotels!), making my extended work trip significantly more comfortable. The immaculately maintained room features a stunning floor-to-ceiling window that perfectly captures the Parisian essence, complete with a Juliet balcony that frames breathtaking Eiffel Tower views. Located in a tranquil residential neighborhood, the hotel offers both peaceful serenity and complete safety - ideal for solo travelers. Thoughtful design touches elevate the experience at every turn, from the artful interior decor to the premium Diptyque toiletries in the bathroom. Housekeeping deserves special mention for maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards throughout my stay. What truly sets this boutique hotel apart is its ability to balance Parisian chic with functional comfort. The combination of strategic location (quiet yet central), designer amenities, and those magical tower views makes Hôtel Beaureagrd my new benchmark for boutique accommodations in Paris. A perfect choice for discerning travelers seeking authentic charm with modern sophistication!
