I came here with high expectations having read great reviews on Google, and those expections weren't just met. They were obliterated.
The first dish I had was a citrus veal tartar which made me believe heaven is indeed real, and is sitting at the end of my fork. The fresh, sweet, sour and melt-in-your-mouth sensation felt like the pearly gates had opened and Jesus himself had greeted me. My sister ordered the bone marrow to start and of course I had to try this. The delicate and deep flavour of this dish gave me flashbacks to a childhood memory I never even had; The sun was setting and my father had just watched me score the winning point for a game of little league baseball. He sits me down after the team congratulate me, his arm hanging cozy over my shoulder. A puff of his pipe and he looks into my eyes and says, "Son, I'm proud of you".
My main was a duck steak with smokey caramel sauce and mashed potatoes. If there ever was a flavour that reminded me of my teenage years, sneaking off from school to watch a movie with my friends, this is it. Caramel popcorn, the thrill of doing something a little naughty and the comfort of friends you've known for most of your life, all tightly packed into one single bite of throwback bliss. My sisters dish was a cod with curry sauce and date. The sweet, salty and slightly bitter combination of flavours met with the depth of the curry and smoothness of the cream all culminate to a dish that transports you to the top of the Eiffel Tower, then to the jungles of South East Asia and finally to the loving embrace of your own mother.
The dessert I finished this absolute perfection of a meal with was a raspberry sorbet. It was literally sunshine in a cup. The sweet punch of raspberry was mellowed out with a bitter crisp and refreshing swirl, as if the sweet rays of the beach sun were cooled by chilling waves. Perfectly balanced as everything should be.
Atmosphere was also fantastic. A truly authentic French experience with culture, art and history all entwined into the walls and even the menu which sported a beautiful collection of classic Parisianblack and white photographs. The service was impeccable and the waiters were very personable.
This was literally the best experience and meal I've ever had in my life so far. It was like highfiving the almighty maker and winning the lottery and once.

Read moreI strongly discourage visit this place if food quality and taste matters for you. My gf and I ordered entree+plats+ desserts x2.
Plats
Dessert. We took Norwegian omelette. Very sweet ice cream on the bottom and very sweet sugary whipped egg white.
As a conclusion, it’s an absolute fraud-restaurant in terms of google and trip advisor ranking. I hope this review might save at least couple other customers from being...
Read moreDefinitely one of the top 5 meals I've had. If you're looking for traditional, well done french food- this is it. Add in the classic ambiance and the super friendly staff, it's perfectly sublime.
We ordered the snails, bone marrow, and pate for the apperitif. I truly could not pick a favorite! We ordered the duck and lobster for the entree and words cannot describe my love for the duck... it was phenomenal. I'm not normally one to finish my side of potatoes but whatever magic they did to those potatoes had me wishing I had more. We ended with two affogatos and flan and the affogato was hands down delicious, but the flan. My goodness! I don't even like flan and I'd ask for that any day of the week.
Hopefully they have openings for lunch tomorrow because we WILL...
