Incredibly fun. As luck would have it I visited Ground Control the day before my departure and so was only able to enjoy an hour or two, but oh what a few hours indeed.
The entrance to this complex blends so effortlessly until the scenery that I walked halfway down the block before realizing. And it's all the more impressive once you've seen the full ground control layout. But anyway, upon ascending the spiral staircase just past the front gate you emerge into an artsy, rooftop courtyard, with assorted statues, food & beverage stalls, and well arranged seating spaces. And all I can say is that seeing quality skateboarding in films and online is one thing. To be at times inches from it is another thing entirely. I didn't even realize this was on my bucket list until that day, but I'm so very glad to have...

Read moreThis establishment is so unique I donât know which category to put it in. Obviously they serve alcohol with multiple bars around the parameter, however this place is gigantic. Thereâs also a whole area for the food court where you can get some snacks. Hereâs the run down:
1, multiple bars that have a nice selection of artisanal beer, ciders and other bottled drinks. 2, a « food court » area for snack / meal with burgers, pasta etc 3, a « clubbing » area where they put up a fake wall, dimmed the light and have DJs playing techno music. Itâs not a proper club but if you and your friends are getting lit, itâs fun to hop in and out 3, an airplane model made out of wood (yes you read that right). It looks exactly like a plane just without all the seats. The DJ plays music in the cockpit. Super cool 4, there are also ping-pong table, an arcade spread around the area as well. If youâre a tourist I...
