What better way to finish off our first day in Paris than with a Lebanese meal at the Restaurant Rayan. We hadn't had a Lebanese meal in ages and we lob into a budget hotel 70 metres down the road from a tiny little restaurant that served us up a Lebanese feast. The place maybe had seating for 16 and I didn't hear any English from anyone but us. But the service was quick and friendly and the food was very nice. Paris has lots of food courts but Rauan Restaurant is a class apart. We were welcomed in with a glass of water and served graciously big portions of food. Rahmu the owner was at our service and made ts have such a memorable experience. We just told him there and then that one of us had a birthday, and surprisingly he came in with a full plate filled with free Tiramisu and Tea. Prices compared to other places is very okay but most importantly the food you get is Indeed Lebanese Cuisine....

One of the very best restaurants I’ve been to, ever. I’ve gotten the spécialité plate and everything on the plate is absolutely delicious. The meat is perfectly cooked and all is packed with flavor. My friend who’s a vegetarian broke her years long no-meat streak to have some of the chicken kebab, and she said that that chicken was the type of delicious meat that makes it worth breaking the streak.
