Le Barlu — Restaurant in Paris

I'm starting in English because local people already know this place is a scam. Typically the kind of tourist catch that destroys Paris' reputation for foreigners who come. I went there one Sunday at noon, the day started well, we had sunshine. We decided to order an 18e brunch for two to share... well, it doesn't happen often to me, but I was close to sending it all back and running away: ridiculous, tasteless and cold rations, arranged in tiny glasses (an omelette of an egg, a mini fruit salad warmer than the omelette...). All we tasted was the owner's stininess. In short, a scam. If you are already there, go next door to Corso or across the river at Biiim. There, you will have a good time;) !

J'y suis allé un dimanche midi, la journée commençait bien, on avait du soleil. On a décidé de commander un brunch à 18e à partager à deux.... et bien ça ne m'arrive pas souvent mais j'ai été à deux doigts de renvoyer le tout et de me barrer en courant : des rations ridicules, insipides et froides, disposées dans des verrines (une omelette d'un oeuf, une mini-salade de fruits plus chaude que l'omelette...). we had 40 min to go before going into the movie theater and decided to take a drink. It took the waitress a good 10 min to come to take our orders. We ordered a juice and a limonade, we were served a mint diabolo instead of the limonade. We asked to pay right as served, for not having to wait afterwards again. I had to go inside and waited again that somehow someone would notice me in the empty bar in order to proceed with payment. We did not enjoy the shortened stay, especially because the place was almost empty. Sure, the view is nice and so is the terrace. But it didn't help much to make us...

ugh...I paid 30 euros for a pizza and a veggie burger with fries. The fries were soggy and greasy. Pizza and veggie burger tasteless. The server was very nice. BATHROOMS were digusting and no toilet paper. I told one of the workers there was no toilet paper in the women's restroom and they told me to go to the men's restroom. apalled, I went ahead and to my surprise there was no toilet paper in the men's restroom either. They finally got someone to put in toilet paper for me and my 4 year old son. There was also no soap to wash our hands with. Never...
