Edit: wow I got a reply they are trying to claim I didn't say the name of the drink correctly. I read the whole long item name off the menu. The waiter confirmed the whole long name off the menu. I was served chai. I paid at the cash register and the item read chai. Anyways they have tried to blame me for this mistake on their end but they don't have any excuses for poor service or bad food or why they are the only restaurant in Paris I've seen with gnats in the toilet. Also it is hard to ask for food to be remade when waiters are never around, the chef doesn't know how to cook any Thai food, and they did refuse to correct their mistake of serving me chai instead of .
Terrible food, inattentive service despite a mostly empty restaurant.
The single toilet smelled and was weirdly infested with fruit flies which soon escaped and swarmed us while eating.
I ordered beef laab and was served this bizarre iceberg salad with beef on top.
I also ordered Thai Ice Tea. The waitress confirmed my order of Thai Ice Tea. A waiter came out and said he had brought my "chai." I got some white creamy drink that didn't taste like tea at all. I asked the wait staff to confirm I had Thai Ice Tea because it didn't taste like tea at all and the waiter called it chai. Two waiters then insisted I got the Thai ice tea and they just make it like this at the restaurant/ they don't know what it's supposed to look like. When I went to pay I saw my order was entered as Chai Latte.
Also my colleague who ordered a spicy red chicken curry could not finish it because not only was it not spicy, it was completely bland.
It seems like the chef is clueless and I can't believe they lied and covered up their mistake. It's not hard to remake a drink properly and the only right thing to do. I encourage people to Google Thai ice tea and laab for reference.
Thailand has a government program to train restauranteurs so I would recommend eating at one of the many authentic Thai restaurants in Paris that take pride in their cooking and cleanliness. Would not eat at this place that clearly does not know how to make Thai cuisine and is appropriating...
Read moreSo we had to wait 15 minutes without any staff coming out to receive the order. And then there was no hospitable, instead of taking our order (after 15mins of waiting), the waiter let us wait again to go talk to other guests on where they should be sitting ohlala, like make up your priority, maybe train your staff to be a bit more organized? And then we ordered tap water, which never come, obviously. We were disappointed over and over so I didn’t want to remind them anymore about the water. But other tables coming after us were served tap water right away with their food. Dont wanna make it into a race problem, but under the observation, they treated Westerners’ tables more nicely and timely, maybe it’s just my experience but I still would like to make point for other guests. I would like to remind the owner, you’re serving Asian cuisine restaurant, nicer service would get a long way. One nice thing is the food was nice, taste was very similar to...
Read moreTonight I dined at Nana Bistro Thai and while the food was commendable, the service left much to be desired.
The dishes we ordered were flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the kitchen's attention to culinary detail. Each bite was enjoyable, and the menu offered a good variety to choose from.
However, the service experience detracted from our meal. Our waiter seemed disengaged, avoiding eye contact and didn't even respond to our requests. We had to ask multiple times for a carafe of water, which was eventually brought without acknowledgment. Additionally, when we didn't finish our fries, he made a pointed comment that felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
In summary, while the culinary offerings met expectations, the lackluster and dismissive service overshadowed the experience. I hope the management addresses these service issues to match the quality...
