I've been coming here for over 10 years, once a year (if I can help it), usually around Christmas. It's one of my favourite restaurants.

Both the Raclette and Fondue are to die for. I especially recommend the Abondance Raclette.

The Raclette is basically all you can eat. You get half a wheel of cheese between two people, and we have never managed to finish it.

The cheese wheel gets attached to a metal frame and a heater melts the cheese slowly into a plate, where you can bring it into your plate to eat with ham, pickles and potatoes.

The fondue has a bit more kick thanks to the alcohol, but you get less of it and less things to eat with it (just bread). Very good but still better for people with slightly smaller appetites. If you're going in a group you could always have it and then steal some Raclette from the others too.

A word of advice: Do not go here on a warm summer's day in the evening, as you will not be able to sleep most of the night from all the cheese 😆. Best to go here for lunch or early-ish dinner in the winter and...

Honestly, paying 20€ per person for a fondue, one would expect that the quality of the bread would be, at least, fine. The peaces of bread they gave us seemed from previous day bread from de supermarket of the corner, shockingly awful, pure chewing gum. In the capital of the baguette, being a key ingredient of a fondue, and paying what you pay it is outrageous they fail on bread like this. The waiter also told us that a portion of fondue for 2 people was definitely not enough, and it turned out to be completely wrong, we did 2 portions for 3 people, and I can tell you I eat quite a lot, we were me and 2 other girls (true that they eat way less than me but still, we had been walking a lot so we were starving), but we suffered to finish it all, fondue is a very heavy dish, and furthermore the potatoes are illimited (not like the bread), so... Bad advice to make money. Apart from this, he place is nice and the fondue was...

Awful experience.

We had diner at the restaurant yesterday (saturday). First thing: after being given the table, we had to wait more than 30 minutes before being able to order drinks and food. The waiters are absolutely overwhelmed and unable to manage, considering also that our waitress was kind and just trying to do her best. Second thing (the worst): 1 hour later, without consideration for the time we waited in the first place, they brought us the bill: "time to leave". No desserts, no extra food, it felt like: pay and "GTFO" ASAP.

It used to be a nice place, but it's obviously very very poorly managed, with the wrong persons in charge. Some staff members are rude, and it overall felt like a cheap experience.

Buy a 40€ raclette machine, find a great cheesemonger (very easy to find in Paris), and it'll feel much more like an alps "experience" when compared...

It was delicious. They had amazing bread and fresh potatoes. The fondue was hearty and wonderful in taste. The waiter was very friendly and they speak English. The whole evening went smoothly. The meat platter was also very good, in most fondue places you will get dry potatoes, the cheapest meat, and horrible bread. This was the first time that everything was delicious and tasty. We paid 56€ we had a fondue for 2 people with 8 potatoes, a basket full of different types of bread, A lot of good charcuterie and 2 bottles of water. The atmosphere is relaxed and clean. The toilets were clean and they had toilet spray. Soap and hand towels were also there. The seats were ok but they didn't have a armrest. The order was very fast processed. I recommend definitely.

Minimum order was for 2 person, amounted to about €70 including wines. Was one of the most pricey meals we had in Paris. People were friendly and helpful. We wanted to try fondue but was introduced to raclette instead as it was their specialty. Boy, we had a great time eating. Was a fun experience and the cheese was delicious. Came with meat board (3 types of meat slices), potatoes, bread and pickles. Loved the yummy melty cheese with potato and meat. Best when it is melting hot. Really enjoyed the potatoes as they had thin outer skin which can be eaten and was slightly sweet. Was even able to "doggy bag" the leftover meat and potatoes as we were too full and did not want to waste. The only setback was that it was quite pricey and had a minimum order.
