New Hoa Khoan — Restaurant in Paris

We went there based on Google reviews when we were in Paris. Once we arrived the place was packed and we had to wait like 10-15 mins to be seated. It’s a bit difficult to communicate with them since we don’t really speak French and they don’t really speak English but somehow we made it. The menu was in Chinese and French and without any pics of the food, if the menu would have some pictures for the tourists like us, it’d be perfect. So I read the Google reviews and showed them what I wanted to eat. The food was really good I have to admit, and they came out fast. The service was very friendly even though we didn’t really understand each other but still we were very satisfied. Give it a try when you are around the area, it’s worth trying but I’d suggest you to come before noon, otherwise the place will be really full and you might need to wait a while until you get the table. Crêpe de riz au porc rôti 🌟 | Délicieux. Crêpe épaisse, fondante et élastique, presque comme un genre de gelée. Le porc rôti est goûtu et la sauce apporte beaucoup d'umami. Un très bon dim sum ! 💶 5,50 €

Pâté de navet 🌟 | Un genre de gâteau de riz garni de lardons et de crevettes, super croustillant et savoureux. 💶 5,30 €

Crêpe de riz aux crevettes 👍 | Aussi bon. Mais j'ai trouvé le ratio crêpe-garniture moins bien, il y avait des parties avec seulement de la pâte. Et au niveau du goût, le porc rôti est plus savoureux. 💶 5,80 €

Riz Loc-Lac 🌟 | Excellent loc-lac, parmi les meilleurs du quartier. Riz très bien assaisonné, pas trop humide ni sec, et boeuf sauté savoureux, très tendre avec malgré tout une bonne croûte fine. L'oeuf était plus dur que mollet mais bon également. 💶 11,50 € avec oeuf

Poulet citronnelle 👍 | Poulet mariné en sauce à la chinoise, rien à signaler, ordinaire et bon. Au cas où je précise, ce n'est pas la recette viet / cambodgienne. 💶 9,50 €

Poulet basilic 👍 | Parfumé et pimenté, ceux qui aiment le curry rouge thai apprécieront. 💶 9,50 €

Poitrine de porc croustillant 👍 | Classique, bien croustillant. 💶 9 €

Bœuf sauté au ciboule et au gingembre 👍 | Classique. Sauce épaisse et riche, le goût est profond. Mais le boeuf reste assez caoutchouteux, je pense que c'est meilleur avec du poulet. 💶 9,50 €

Liserons crevettes 👍 | Un peu gras et aillé, bien croquant et assez épicé. 💶 8,50 €

Cai lan sautés 👍 | Très croquant, gras et aillé. 💶 8 €

Canard laqué 😐 | Classique, bonnes saveurs mais un peu difficile à manger. Un peu dur. 💶 9,50 €

Tofu au gingembre 🌟 | Dessert chaud, tofu soyeux très fondant, gingembre très intense et très sucré, contraste puissant et gourmand. Délicieux. 💶 5 €

Ma lai go 🌟 | Brioche aux saveurs de patate douce (un goût très "gâteau"), très moelleux, aéré et léger. 💶 5 €

BEST DIM SUM OF PARIS

The dim sum are simply great, my table was a bit dirty when I took the pictures, it really has this small local restaurant vibe, a bit noisy with very tasty food.

Everything is spot on, from the the chicken feet, to the pork belly, to the rest of the menu. The only dishes I didn’t like over the years are the pho and the Asian bourguignon which I wouldn’t recommend. But besides that go for it !!! Best Asian fix when in Paris. The Price is so reasonable.

We have been going there since 2016. The owner changed during covid ( for the better ) they kept the team of cook and waiters, but made the place cleaner.
