Polo Auteuil Restaurant — Restaurant in Paris

Gourmet hamburgers are still a bit of a novelty in Paris and this place is a big notch better than McDo. Decent quality meat, buns and cheese. But is it a truly great hamburger resto? Nah. Americans or Brits could find better in upscale chains back home. The bacon is quite bad. French fries are decent but not standouts; as an added bummer, the ketchup is subpar. (How hard is it to buy Heinz?) Avoid the fishburger. (What was my otherwise brilliant husband thinking when he ordered this bummer?) The worst problem is that the smoker-friendly exterior infuses everyone indoors with the vile tabac, even moreso than in other Parisian bistros, so non-smokers beware: You'll get a blast of carcinogenic fumes even indoors, and particularly in summer. However, if you are craving a quick burger fix in the 16th, toxic miasma be damned, Le Polo is there for you -- with service continue on the weekends. On the positive side: The staff is friendly and prompt, and you can get in and out within 45 minutes (vs 90 minutes at most traditional restaurants). And with quick turnover, you will never wait long...

Ce soir, Samedi 17 Juin 2023, moi qui ne mange ni viande, ni poisson, ni œufs : J’AI TROUVÉ MON BONHEUR !

• Des pâtes : des PENNES citron, burrata, basilic pour lesquelles j’ai demandé de bien vouloir SUPPRIMER le citron !….. Ce fut fait, sans problème AUCUN lors de la prise de ma commande….

• Les boissons choisies ont été :

1. un café allongé que l’on m’a servi aimablement « avec » un mini financier !
2. un « ICE-TEA » : « MAISON » ! absolument délicieux….que je vous recommande vivement…..
3. une carafe d’eau pour laquelle j’ai demandé un complément de GLAÇONS, que FLORE m’a apportés sans tarder !

• De plus, j’ai OSÉ demander « SI », en apéritif, je pouvais obtenir des cacahuètes ? la réponse fut négative MAIS AUSSITÔT REMPLACÉE PAR DES AMANDES dans un petit ramequin… pour mon plus grand plaisir !

• À la fin du repas, j’ai vu et FÉLICITÉ le Patron et je l’ai remercié de fournir à ses clients : des serviettes « EN TISSU », ce qui procure un confort SUPPLÉMENTAIRE lors du repas !……..

• Je lui ai parlé, un petit moment, de ma Vie PERSONNELLE qu’il a ÉCOUTÉE avec bienveillance et attention ! je l’ai donc ENCORE remercié pour son « ÉCOUTE », écoute qui n’est pas donnée à tout le monde !……

• En conclusion et au final, je l’ai assuré de mon retour dans son restaurant : « POLO » où je reviendrai SEULE, dans un premier temps, en ayant le courage de monter l’Avenue Mozart , moi, FEMME HANDICAPÉE À UN TAUX SUPÉRIEUR OU ÉGAL À : 80% !……. Oui, j’ai un handicap physique qui se traduit par des troubles de la marche ET de l’équilibre, sans compter un handicap psychique caractérisé (par les psychiatres) de Trouble Bipolaire !

• Trouver en la personne du Gérant de ce restaurant, une personne capable d’ « ÉCOUTE », de compassion ET de compréhension est chose RARE !……

• « SI » j’ai des invités : je veux leur faire connaître CE RESTAURANT-CI : « LE. POLO » !

Espérant que, désormais, vous choisirez ce restaurant : « LE POLO » pour y célébrer TOUT ÉVÉNEMENT FESTIF : « anniversaire 🎂, 🎁, 🍾 », « NOËL 🎄 », « PREMIER DE L’AN », ou tout autre, je pense que vous ne serez pas déçus du VOYAGE 🧳 d’où que vous veniez :……de Paris, ……d’un coin de France 🇫🇷 ou ……..d’Europe ou …….d’ailleurs dans le monde 🌎 !……. et que, comme moi-même, vous ADOPTEREZ ce restaurant : en en inscrivant les coordonnées DANS VOS CONTACTS !

• À bon entendeur : « BON APPÉTIT 😋 », « BONNE SOIRÉE », et….. « BON VENT 💨 ! »,

• Une cliente du « POLO » qui habite le quartier et qui vous incite vivement à venir régaler vos papilles gustative se !

It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had. We were happily greeted by the staff members and, with our limited French skills, were warmly offered any help that we may have required. It was the type of meal that when you were eating it, you were so happy and content to let it last forever. I think it was the slowest I have ever eaten because I never wanted it to end. This feeling remained all the way through and with everything my partner and I ate, but especially for myself. I had the miso and soy salmon, and it was perfect. I personally am not a fan of green beans, and I ate every single one that Polo served me - that's how amazing it was. It was all gorgeous. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, it was all amazing. I am already planning my next trip to Paris, and I will definitely be returning to...
