Our family was on a multi-venue trip and needed a hotel that was located relatively close to the city centre, but slightly away from the hustle and bustle. Via Booking.com, we stumbled upon this hotel and took the chance to book it.||The hotel itself is in a good location. Nearby are a range of useful shops and facilities, a mini supermarket just a couple of doors away for example, and a lovely pizza restaurant/takeaway just a couple of hundred meters down the road. There are bakeries, fresh fruit/veg, and other products available nearby. All of which we found very handy.||We booked rooms that were connected on the upper floor, accessible by lift or stairs. The rooms had their own door that was lockable, followed by two rooms that were well-appointed and clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms well stocked with complimentary products (eco friendly), the information was accurate and useful and there were some other nice touches too including a cold mini bar which stocked a few snacks as well as the obligatory drinks.||The main 'wow' however was the view from these family rooms. Outside the window was a very good view of the Eiffel Tower. At night it was possible to watch the sparkling light show on the hour from the comfort of your room. Just one caveat - I don't think many of the other rooms provided a view of the Eiffel Tower - please don't think that you are going to be guaranteed one.||If you wanted better photographs, the walk to a bridge next to the Statue of Liberty was 5 minutes or less, and from here you got a great view of the Eiffel Tower, the river and the light shows at night. Some of our best photos came from here. The Statue of Liberty is also worthy of a visit.||The staff we saw were all superb. The owner/manager is a lovely man, with fabulous English and a wide knowledge of the city which he is all too happy to share with you. There was a lady (sorry, I forgot your name too) who was equally approachable, helpful and offered some great opinions about things to do and how to best get there/experience them. The night staff were good too, with a decent command of English which helped as my French is not so good.||One thing we didn't personally try was the breakfast - we were not early risers and prefer to keep breakfast simple. Other guest we spoke to raved about the quality of this, which matches the standards of what we saw elsewhere with this hotel.||On the day we left, they were very happy to store our bags and allowed us to collect in the late afternoon, which allowed us to enjoy Paris for a little longer.||Overall, this is a really lovely 3 star hotel, which provided our family with an amazing experience. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel, as the price is better this way, next time we shall certainly do this. I would heartily recommend this hotel to any one who...
Read moreI was looking for hotel accommodations for a few nights as part of a business trip and like the 16th Arrondissement area of Paris.
The Hôtel Eiffel Kennedy is tucked away from prime tourist areas next to the Radio France, but there was a lot of noise from the restaurant on the corner at night and some usual street noise given the proximity to a road intersection. There is an RER C station on the opposite side of the Radio France building and an M9 station a couple of blocks away.
My room was clean, and while looking updated also showed signs of wear, like maybe a previous guest had not treated the room well. The bathroom is small. There was no toilet paper holder adjacent to the toilet, requiring a 180° pivot to reach for a roll on the shelf above and behind the toilet. The bathroom was moden but also dark. One side of the vanity light on the mirror above the sink was not working.
There was someone stationed behind the front desk at all times, and the night desk person locked the door for really late hours. There is a small elevator to the upper floors, but I was on the first floor so used the stairs.
I did not have breakfast at the hotel, but it is available for a price. There are outside places to eat nearby.
I would say this hotel is "modern quaint", and I liked the vibe. I would consider returning here if the price was...
Read moreI have stayed in this place for four days. Hotel location is good, proximity to Metro stations and Effiel Tower. There is a very tiny breakfast hall and as breakfast time is limited it gets full easily. Breakfast options are limited. As our family do not eat Pork or Beef we only have option of Eggs, but surprisingly they are not available always, couple of days we have to wait to get boiled or scrambled eggs. Rooms are small, lift can only fit 2 people, overall services are average but cost compared to it was very high atleast for me. Also on last day when I have given bad review to hotel, the owner (or manager I am not sure) of hotel asked me the reason in lobby for bad review and after i gave my justification, instead of resolving the issue he got irritated, i felt bad for him and decided to change my rating to 3 star, but when I came back to collect my luggage he was still very irritated and talking loudly. As we were foreigners in the country and do not want any problems ,so we left the place. But, it still feels very bad, as an hospitality professional he could have handled this very differently, atleast politely. I know 1 star feels very bad to someone who is rated with it, but as i have far better expectations which...
