Restaurant Excellent — Restaurant in Paris

If only there were eight days in a week — I’d still spend every single one here. Lunch, dinner, a snack I didn’t need but needed… you name it.

The kebab? Tender like a whispered secret. The brochette? Juicy enough to write poetry about. And the falafel? Succulent in a way that makes you question every other falafel you’ve ever known. The boys behind the counter? Fine. Like, distractingly fine. It’s giving slow-burn romance with extra garlic sauce.

Morocaine or Algérienne sauce — how do you even choose? It’s not a rivalry, it’s a duet. A symphony. I swear they both wink at me every time I have to decide. And still, I can’t. I won’t.

Terrace in spring. Sun on your face, meat in your mouth, sauce on your fingers. I still have stains all over my shorts and I refuse to wash them. Call it nostalgia. Call it commitment. I’ll take that to the grave.

And the Orangina? Don’t even get me started. The way it fizzes up as you twist the cap — it’s like it knows. Like it’s in on the secret. A citrusy little sidekick to my daily heartbreak over which sauce to choose. I sip. I sigh. I surrender.

Honestly? I think I’m in love. With both of them. With all of it. How do you choose between two sauces who hold your heart equally? You don’t. You just keep going back.

Je sortais tout juste de la borne de métro Saint-Ambroise lorsque du coin de l’œil je fus ébloui. J’ai toute suite pensé à une voiture me fonçant dessus, qu’elle fut ma surprise quand je me rendis compte que c’était enfaite le restaurant qui allait marquer ma vie.
