Ce square est l'un des quatre jardins qui composent la promenade Richard-Lenoir, construite sur voûte depuis Haussmann, dont les récents aménagements ont été pensés pour rappeler l'existence du canal Saint-Martin sous les pavés. Le square rend hommage aux manufacturiers d'étoffes François Richard (1765-1839) et Joseph Lenoir-Dufresne (4768-1806), qui créèrent en 1802 la première manufacture de coton. François Richard modifia son nom en François Richard-Lenoir au décès du second.

Very nice and calm promenade in bastille. Nice water fountain and flowers to see during summers. The park is kind of divided I 2 parts with fountains being the centre of attraction. Best place to meet friends or take a break to region energy after you playing that game in virtual room or just after shop9ng in...
