Restaurant Numidia — Restaurant in Paris

We are italians. We went to the restaurant because it was near to our hotel and because by the waiting line and the place where is settled , it seemed to be quite good. Unfortunatly, our experience wasn't so. After waiting in line for 35 min, we waited 20 min to just get te waiter attencion. He proceeds to tell us that half of the menu is not available, he also appeared to be uncapable of speaking withers English or French and communication was incredibile difficult. So we opted for the selection of Grill meat, for which we waited 1 h. The meat was good, nothing extraordinary since it wasn't seasoned in any way, a barbecue in my garden has more potential. For 6 spiedini, 2 soda and some bread we payed 28€.I really don't Know why people wait up to 2 h to eat at this place but for us is...

Yesterday was my second visit at the restaurant. It was conveniently opened late on a Tuesday night. The staff was very welcoming, very reactive, well organized and the food was great. Despite the fact that we came to eat late, the staff was very helpful and professional. There is a great variety of choice among proteins as well as sides. You can pick traditional Algerian dishes (which are excellent and portions are very generous) as well as regular sides (their version of the potatoes gratin is very good!).
