Restaurant Saitama Balard Japonais — Restaurant in Paris

I actually really literally feel like puking thinking of this restaurant. Anyone who knows anything about sushi will be able to tell from just the photos that it's not a good place at all. I stopped by on a whim without reading any reviews unfortunately so had the misfortune of eating this meal.

I ordered the saumon fromage which is a poor man's french version of the philadelphia roll, I suppose. God. The rice was so, so cakey and thick and had a refrigerator taste. The salmon tasted fishy. The cream cheese even tasted off - not the regular philadelphia kind, something softer and less flavorful.

The eel handroll was literally nauseating. I almost puked after I took a bite - it tasted seriously as if it had gone bad.

There was nothing wrong with the service and the ambiance was nice, I just honestly believe the food was completely revolting. I'm not sure how anyone eats here. But I would definitely avoid it...

Si vous voulez manger en quantité, qualité et à un prix très modeste, c'est ici que ça se passe ! Pour vous donner une idée, c'est environ 16-18 makis pour 12 euros avec soupe miso. Excellent rapport qualité/prix surtout pour un restaurant japonais. Allez-y les yeux fermés. Date 13...
