Genuinely shocked by the reviews.

20 euro will get you one bland sausage and cheesy mash potatoes. The food lacked seasoning and didn't come with a side, such as local vegetables.

Their claim to fame seems to be giving customers a large pile of fries with their dish. All hype. So many better places in the neighborhood. Wanted to add a genuine review to what seems like a sea of fakes.

Can’t speak for the big dishes but the pate I had was just not good. Dry, gross, boring. And the Farcous dish was confusing and dull. Deep fried with a mushy green mixture inside, with little flavor along with a giant dish of sour cream. I don’t get it. And no, I don’t believe it’s just traditional French dishes an American wouldn’t get it, I’ve had much better versions of these. The wine selection is good though! Rives is a restaurant that I found on Instagram a few months ago and recently had the opportunity to go for my birthday dinner with friends. Given the anticipation, I was excited to go and was not disappointed at all! The atmosphere was great (lively, but not so loud that you couldn't hear yourself talk), the food was amazing (I recommend the sausage and aligot) and wine selection was more than satisfactory.
