RPR Le Repaire de Charonne — Restaurant in Paris

A cute little casual cocktail bar by the metro Charonne. I stopped by here on Sunday night after being put “in line” at the seafood restaurant Clamato down the street. Turns out, grabbing a cocktail (my partner and I both ordered painkiller - it was s really good piña colada) at this bar was a great idea. Would love to come back and try more cocktails. JE NE RECOMMANDE ABSOLUMENT PAS ! Au cours d’une soirée, j’attends 15 min au bar (avant la fin de l’happy hour) pour enfin espérer être servie. Quand un barman s’approche enfin pour me servir, à 21h05, après la fin de l’happy hour bien entendu, je fais gentiment remarquer que cela fait 15min que j’attends et que j’aimerais que mes consos soient facturées au prix de l’happy hour. On me répond oui, mais chut. Ok pas de souci. Sauf que quand je règle, je me rends compte que je paye pour deux pintes plein tarif. Je tique, je lui précise que je n’ai pas payé ce prix là pour mes consos précédentes, on me dit « ah on a dû se tromper la première fois ». Dans le doute, je regarde à nouveau la carte, verdict : je viens de me faire arnaquer. J’ai payé mes consos plein pot et non au trarif happy hour. JE NE RECOMMANDE ABSOLUMENT PAS, ils sont malhonnêtes, mal organisés (30 min pour avoir à manger avant de nous annoncer que finalement ils ne feraient pas à manger; ben pourquoi pas hein). Pretty cool bar in the 11th. The bar is small and this might be the only drawback of it. Happy hour is cool, cocktails are good as well! There’s an arcade gaming spot. And the music was really cool.
