Sahil — Restaurant in Paris

I recently dined at Sahil Restaurant on a quiet Tuesday, expecting it to be a slow day, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a steady stream of customers. Despite it not being a busy weekend, the restaurant had a welcoming ambiance and maintained a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.

The food was exceptional—every dish was prepared with care, and the quality was evident. The flavors were authentic, and the presentation was impressive. I particularly enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and the bold, rich flavors in the curries.

The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, always ensuring that everything was to our liking. The team clearly takes pride in making their guests feel at home.

Situated right in the heart of Paris. Located on: Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis. This restaurant has got good environment, with regards to having good dinning in early evening times. Great traditional Pakistani food, along with local drinks like Lassi etc. Staff is very nice and professional. One of the staff member Mr Mubashir was very nice and kind, and gave me excellent service on two lovely evening's dinner that i had at this restaurant (04th & 05th March 2024). Ordered various dishes each time, like, Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Some Bar B Q etc. Mango Lassi was great. Reasonable prices keeping in mind it's central location within the city of Paris (just 800 meter walk from Gare Du Nord Station). Food was fresh and delicious. It's nice enough and has potential, but it's unfortunate that their food is not fresh and reheated in a microwave!! All of our meat dishes were cold. Also the amount of meat you get is very small. The gravy was always hot, but the inside of the meat was cold as if it was just microwaved.. and this is just not acceptable to me for a restaurant. We ordered more lamb madras though because it was generally pretty good, and asked them to just make sure it was hot, and that time it was warmed properly. But it ruins the entire experience when the food is reheated and doesn't seem freshly made. Also the first two dishes we got that had cold meat contained a very, very small amount of meat!!!
