L'Émile — Restaurant in Perpignan

Such an amazing little secret jewel, I was tempted to selfishly not write a review to keep it from getting mobbed. Tiny place with a gigantic heart. Daily menu changes every day. Mireille runs the place with a boundless love of good food and exquisite taste. Foodies from near and far will rejoice.

We had two fantastic local red wines which were very fairly priced. Ordered a few different appetisers and mains, and all was creative, delicious and generous.

I highly recommended this low-key jewel in Perpignan. I can’t wait...

A lovely restaurant in a charming and busy street. The food was incredible, Simple in its component yet complex in flavor. Even though we couldn't communicate properly in french we felt as though the waiters did their best to give us time and the help. Excellent service and tapas! Same level as the best restaurants in Cataluña, but even less expensive. For example, by August 2024, I order 6 croquettes de cêpes, 6 croquettes de jambon, aubergines grillées, 4 big breads con tomate, tomato salad with a burrata, 3 glasses of wine, and one bear. All for 55 euros! Great address...
