We ended up in this place thanks to a recommendation of recently met travelers and it was our first shot in Perpignan (also the photo of a great wine assortment drew us in). The wine was great, we got to try two and choose one, the server (the girl) was doing a great job during a very busy time. The dishes were all delicious, especially the beef stew, and shallot tatin (tarte) with feta. We also had a shrimp with coconut and rice dish and stuffed green pepper that were more delicate in flavour but also worth a try. The light wasn't the best for great photos but the presentation of the dishes was also very good. The portions were sizable and we left the place really satisfied. The price was more towards the 20 rather the 30 Euros mark per person (depending on how much wine you drink I suppose). We had an amazing and very limited skin contact wine called La Vilane. The owner gently gave us the advice as soon as we said we were on the mood for an orange and local wine. She also took his time to explain us the wonderful story of the place.
Lady Ja Ja is the actual name of the place, but just few years ago it was called Indigènes, the name that is used now for the natural wine salon of the city hold every year in may.
