Maison Dahlia — Restaurant in Perpignan

Wow. What a fantastic dining experience. Found Maison Dahlia whilst wandering around some of the winding streets of central Perpignan. Both my wife and I fancied a burger and noticed a ‘pink burger’ on the menu. This was down to the colour of the roll and not the state of the burger! Our server, Quentin, was amazing and speaking really good English, he was able to answer our questions about wine choices and the menu. We settled on a local dry white wine which was amazing and complemented our meal perfectly. I ordered Arancini as a starter and my wife ordered guacamole and hummus with pita bread. Two large arancini arrived for me and they were perfect as was my wife’s starter. We both had burgers for mains that were served with some fantastic fries. They were cooked exactly as we wanted and my mother not mistake was to double up as I certainly didn’t need a second burger. The burgers themselves were absolutely delicious and both my wife and I agreed they were easily one of the best burgers we had ever had. A good friend of mine took me to this new great restaurant located at Perpignan’s center.

They serve original dishes and have a large assortment of cocktails. I had the one with mezcal (pictured). It was exotic and refreshing (some people may find mezcal beverages a little bit dry though).

We shared a few plates. Everything was delicious but my favorite ones were the Burrata and fried chicken.

To improve:

Their desserts. They were good but nothing extraordinary. Especially the Choux...

A very cute and cozy restaurant with outdoor dining. The best part was the service! We were 8 people and we asked to be served as close to the opening time of the kitchen as possible as we had to catch a show… kitchen opened at 7pm and we were served delicious food at 7:05!
