Wonderful experience at this French steak house type restaurant in Perpignan. I went with my family two days in a row, liking it so much. The menu has a lot of variety (not just steaks) and very representative of Southern France hearty food. I personally loved the Roquefort and the aioli sauces… mixed together!! The green pepper sauce was also divine.
My son ordered a filet of beef (entrecôte) and I ordered bavette. The food is cooked on a hot grill so the charred taste is perfectly captured. Note that ordering medium rare (saignant), medium (à point) and well done (bien cuit) is exactly how it is done in the US, no bad surprise. We also had dessert (ice cream). The Chantilly cream is home made, which is unusual and a good touch for this high end place.
