Le Balto — Restaurant in Pontoise

My wife, my cousin, and I flew in from Toronto, Canada. After a couple hours of sleep at our lovely AirBnb (La Grange) we headed "downtown" and discovered this little gem. We purposely surround ourselves with locals when we travel abroad. We struggled with French, and the locals struggled with English. That having been said, we had so much fun, laughing, and drinking local beers, and conversing with the wonderful staff and friendly patrons. 5 ⭐ to this establishment. You all made our first night in Europe one of the most memorable, and best nights of our whole trip to Europe....

Coffee was too light , like American coffee. If you prefer French/ Italian coffee , this is not the place for you. I ordered double espresso, tasted like water, so did the cappuccino.

Vivant à Paris, je suis venue seule visiter Auvers-sur-Oise, la 1ere chose a été de m'arrêter avant de partir en vadrouille. Je me suis sentie si bien que j'ai dû revenir après mon excursion vers 19h ! Et la serveuse était toujours aussi agréable, super accueillante, population locale, puis retour Paris... Je suis revenue plusieurs fois ds les environs d'Auvers afin d'explorer ts les alentours mais je finis toujours par le Balto car je m'y sens tout simplement bien et une serveuse toujours de bonne humeur, c'est rare !!!. Donc merci Madame pr cet accueil si simple et naturel. Simple...
