Atmosphere:,tables are a little too close together but otherwise nice decor and luxurious setting that’s clean.
Service: friendly waiter and waitress, not too attentive but this may have been due to them being short staffed. They were taking a lot of delivery orders during our visit which caused a delay in our food arriving.
Food: chicken tikka was over cooked for our starter and unfortunately the same for our main as they used tenderloin for the chicken masala/korma. The sauce was almost identical for both dishes and lacked depth of flavour and spice - heavy on the cream. The second main was the lamb curry again very creamy but the meat was well cooked and tasty. Rice was ok, had some dry crunchy pieces mixed in.
Dessert: mousse au chocolat was grainy, heavy and I found the texture completely off as there was unmelted pieces of chocolate through and the sugar hadn’t dissolved. It also had a thick crust on top.
Wine: demi litre 50cl, house red was delicious! Smooth and easy to drink.
Price: set menu for valentines and it set us back 37.50euros per person. Very expensive for the portion size and no naan. 9euros for wine, worth it for the wine not for the food.
Nice place, lovely staff but overpriced and food is not authentic...
Read moreThe food was ok. We specifically asked for naan bread to come with main course...had to wait 15 minutes for the main to arrive after the naan..naan was cold. Asked for the spice to be hotter...was like eating a korma. Biriyani was ok. The food is not Indo / Pakistani food at all. To be honest, they should be ashamed of advertising Indo / Pakistani food like this....nothing like it in the slightest !!
The service was 0 out of 5. The customer service was 0. Ali was the only person who made any communication and the only one that smiled. The only thing the staff and owners wanted to do was get the tables served as soon as possible and take the money.. was not a pleasant experience at all. Other people on both sides of me felt exactly the same. I am sorry but a change of staff might be a good idea. Also listen to your customer requests...It is not a cheap restaurant
I will not be going back.
I do not recommend this restaurant.
Go to Brest for a more authentic curry, good customer service and a far better...
Read moreBased on Google reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant for dinner. But I was very disappointed with the service. First of all it took them close to 30 minutes to take our order even though the restaurant was not very crowded. We decided to order veg samosa, rice, daal, palak paneer and cheese naan. The cheese naan was served within 10 to 15 minutes but we had to wait for almost 1 hour for daal, rice and palak paneer. By that time the cheese naan had dried out. The daal was not properly cooked and we had to chew it a bit. The palak paneer did not had any paneer at all but I could see a bit of something like the french cheese "La vache qui rit". This dish therefore cannot be called palak paneer at all in terms of Indian standard.
We also ordered breizh cola and mango lassi which was good. The staff was polite. But overall experience was very disappointing. I would not recommend this place for vegetarian people. However for non-vegetarian food you...
