we had a wonderful host who clearly knew the menu well and origin of ingredients.
food - the mussels here were done in a manner I have not seen before, dry and not saucey, lots of butter, lending it a deeper aroma than what I've had. the mussels were small, as was the portion size but quality was definitely there. the cheese on the oyster gratin was not overpowering and the flavours of the oyster shine through. a mixed platter of oysters was also ordered, fresh and served with lemon, an indulgence. potato mills feuille was delicious and delicately made, but small.
make sure to make a reservation online, it is very simple and can be done last minute. sadly we were not very full at the end of the meal and bill was around 50 euro with 1 glass of wine. perhaps were big eaters!

Definitely visiting again the next time...

If you ever find yourself in Rennes, I can’t recommend this place enough. A true culinary treasure worth...
