LA ISLA SNACK-CAFÉ-BAR DE PLAGE — Restaurant in Rochefort

I’ve had a little lunch at this place a few days ago. I really liked to have some tacos again (they were advertised on a huge sign). As I am not a native French speaker I did I my best to place the order in the best French I could speak. The cashier was not really friendly but she recognized my wish of not wanting beans. You have to order your food on the bar and then you can go into the backyard with a beautiful view of the ocean, which is fine by me. What’s not fine by me is, that we were laughed at by an employee in the back because of our French, I found that really inappropriate, because as later turned out he couldn’t really communicate in English. I mean I was trying the best to speak in their language and then being non verbally insulted is not the best you want to see in a restaurant that wants to sell you tacos. After our order was finished I needed to find out, that the tacos weren’t real tacos but rather a form of wrap, even though they had advertised a real taco on a sign. Then I needed to find out that the corn was not in my taco, so I went back to the bar. I was told there, that the corn comes together with the beans, and that I told them not not include beans. I was not informed about the facts, that the corn will not be in the “wrap” if I don’t like the beans, and the fact that their taco is a wrap! All in all a really bad experience and as a Tourist/foreigner I would not recommend going there if you don’t want to be insulted or if you like good service.

Je suis venu une fois avec ma mère pour boire un coup mi août et le 14 septembre le midi, avec ma mère pour manger un burger et une moule frite .J'adore, le cadre est idyllique, et estival, les décors mexicain et la playa donne lieu, a un lieu unique et atypique, qui donne envie d'y retourner encore et encore. Le faite que il y a pas de service est une bonne chose. C'est un poids en moins pour les ouvriers et pour la direction. L'accueil est agréable, l'attente des plats son convenable. La qualité des produits est exquis, et le burger est savoureux, bien dosé, et les frites sont bonnes. Moule marinière très bonnes (un poil trop de vin blanc, mais ça c'est une question de goût personnel), et les prix sont corrects espérons que la carte n'augmente pas pour la prochaine saison 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. J'ai bien aimé le faite que ça soit abrité vous devriez agrandir l'abri pour la prochaine saison, on sent les limites en cas d'influence et de mauvais temps. Seul bémol supplément steck haché interdit, dommage pour les gourmands.
