Les frangins — Restaurant in Rochefort

Visited back at the beginning of June. Great location overlooking the port with far reaching views of the marshes. Love the simplicity of the no-frills concept - the ultimate fast food restaurant but with the star of the show being the shellfish!

Order, pay, then collect your food when your bleep goes off from the friendly staff, devoure the delicious fresh mussels served with well cooked fries and crisp, cool white wine and when finished go to recycling station and get rid of your debris. Everyone does it.

There is plenty of seating, both inside and out, and this is a great place to enjoy a good sunset....

Hier midi nous avons déjeuné chez "Les Frangins"... C'était su-per ! Nous étions installés dans le dégorgeoir... c'était parfait ! Accueil souriant, ambiance détendue... nickel. C'est exactement ce qu'il nous faut... Nous avons pu échanger avec les jeunes qui nous ont accueillis sur leur métier, leurs conditions de travail... c'était très intéressant. Nous avons jeté notre dévolu sur des huîtres (2 variétés) et 2 terrines. Puis des moules/frites et un café chacun. L'endroit est très bien situé, c'est calme, c'est beau, c'est bon et les assiettes sont bien garnies. Nous avions vue imprenable sur la mer... Vraiment un très bon moment. Je recommande... ou plutôt, NOUS recommandons tous les 4 cette pause déjeuner si agréable ! Nous vous souhaitons une belle saison ! Plein de clients ! Et longue vie à votre entreprise !
