As i didnât know what to eat, I trusted the waiters recommendation (tuna with beetroot and peach mousse). I didnât like it so much so they offered me something instead. The cook himself brought the substitute dish. Surprisingly I found the second dish on the invoice - as also 3 bottles (instead of 3 glasses) of white wine and the more expensive oysters, while we ordered the normal ones. Overall friendly staff and creative (experimental) food, but for us a lukewarm experience.
Comment to the owner's reply: As explained to your waiter, the mousse was nice - just not with the tuna and the composition. I told him with bread it works well (and of course I was hungry), but that's not the point. I understand you would have liked to charge the 3 bottles instead of 3 glasses, but that's not how it works. Aggressiveness was for sure not involved; however, overpayment for not received service (glass vs bottle) should be normal also in your establishment. If you talked to your staff you also know, I never questioned paying for the 2nd dish, although it was not clear to me that this would be charged in the end. I think criticism can be used as an opportunity to improve; but that's up to you how you want to deal with it....

The lemon meringue tart recommended by the waiter was one of the best Iâve had. I almost ordered another one ! The fine oysters were really good and the special oysters were magnifique. I really enjoyed my mulet noir with freekeh and shiitake. I think it saved me from the gastro and bronchitis ! Pour l'apĂ©ro, mon whisky de 2cl et le kir de mon Ă©pouse Ă©taient orphelins d'un amuse gueule qui aurait Ă©tĂ© de bon gout, bref. Pour le plat, mon Ă©pouse avait commandĂ© des chipirons avec un risotto Ă l'encre de seiche et pour ma part j'ai optĂ© pour du thon avec son concassĂ© de tomates. Quand j'ai vu arriver mon plat, je me suis demandĂ© si on c'Ă©tait moquĂ© de moi. Il y avait 4 mĂ©daillons de thon guĂšre plus gros qu'une piĂšce de 2 euros chacun et d'une Ă©paisseur, je dirais de 1 cm, avec une grosse cuillerĂ©e Ă soupe de concassĂ© de tomates, le tout ornĂ© de 4 pointes de purĂ©e de patate douce Ă la poche Ă douille. La colĂšre commençait Ă monter, je me suis vengĂ© sur le pain dont des morceaux trempaient dans l'eau qui stagnait dans le fond de la coupelle inox. Le serveur qui venait desservir me demandait si tout c'Ă©tait bien passĂ©, j'ai dit alors ce que je pensais sur la "lĂ©gĂšretĂ©" de mon plat et j'en profitais aussi pour dĂ©commander les deux verres de vin que l'on attendait encore.
