Went here because we were denied service at a sushi restaurant a few doors down. The service here was the opposite of what we experienced at the sushi place. All three of the waitstaff were extremely kind. The owner came out to speak to me and explain his process for smoking the meat. I am from a country that takes pride in smoked meat and this food was on par with anything I can find at home. We had the pulled pork sandwich, the ribs, and the chicken as takeout. Good portion sizes for the money and everything was cooked perfectly. And the owner and his staff couldn't be more kind....

De passage a l’Île d'Oleron pour quelques jours, nous avons été surpris dans notre balade par une faim de loup. Mais quel fut notre bonheur quand nous sommes tombés sur ce barbecue a ciel ouvert. Une délicieuse odeur nous a merveilleusement chatouillé les narines. Une fois rentré petite désillusion vis a vis du cadre, cela ressemblait plus au au décors de Mad Max que celui d'un restaurant de grillade. Malgré cela une fois notre commande confirmée, un merveilleux "feeling" est passé entre nous et le chef cuisinier. Un agréable personnage qui nous délivrât nos plats en peut de temps.
