La Cabane — Restaurant in Saint-Étienne

This is quite possibly the best burger I’ve had in France, and certainly in Saint-Étienne. As an American I crave a good burger every now and then and I finally found the perfect one. It’s La Cabane.

The bun is soft and toasted. The meat tastes of high quality, seasoned perfectly, and tender. Toppings were great (they offer fourme de Montbrison ;) and the fries are good.

Not sure why but in France they seem to stick to 140-150gr patties (at least in St Etienne). If this would’ve been a 180-200gr medium (rare) patty, it would’ve been the best burger ever. It tastes good, the meat quality was good, combination of the ingredients was good. Overall quite a good burger… but like I said, unfortunately not medium (rare), and too small. 4/5 overall. Franchement allez y les yeux fermés . J’ai pousser la porte pour la première fois , me demandant un peu ce que j’allais y trouver et je ne suis pas déçue . Sans parler de l’accueil très chaleureux et de l’endroit super ”nature” , les Burgers sont magnifiques vraiment , tout est fait maison on est loin du fast food avec son steak raplapla et son pain congelé la c’est du bon vrai pain bien moelleux , les sauces sont géniales et les frites parfaites .
