Worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. The most disrespectful condescending waiter I have ever had in my life, I have been coming to this island for 20+ years and have never been spoken to the way he did (never gave us his name, facial hair, mid 20s early 30s). My wife and I, and sister stopped by for lunch and waited for our menus. Upon him approaching our table he asked how are you, we responded very nicely- great just stopping in for some lunch. His response was “I am also good.” As if he is offended we didn’t ask how he’s also doing. He proceeded to walk away. Alright.. comes to take our order shortly after and we begin to place orders, he gets to my sister and condescendingly tells her “when I visit your country I speak your language.” Got up and left after sitting in awe for 5 minutes that this guy for no reason other than us being American was so disrespectful. We had passed by several times wanting to try this spot out, what a disappointment.

Long story short if you are American, avoid this place like the plague. Americans and people visiting from all over the world are the reason you have a job and keep the economy alive here, maybe keep...

Wanted to treat myself today. Went here as it was not busy, but usually is packed. Menu stated 'all burgers came with fries and coleslaw'. On the menu it said vege burger came with rice and ratatouille, and fries and coleslaw. It did not say rice and ratatouille, or, fries and coleslaw. It made out that it was both. Waiter asked if I wanted coleslaw or salad. I said coleslaw. Burger came out with handful of pre frozen fries and burger. Waiter said there was no coleslaw? He then asked if I wanted ratatouille. Which of course I thought was already included. Anyways the whole episode was awful. Really poor quality fries, lots broken, squashed, overdone. Burger really unexciting. Ratatouille was horrible. Better food to be had at McDonald's. 24 euros I paid for this. Truly extortionate for the lack of quality and small quantity. The week previously, I had a burger from the place directly opposite. That was also really not good. That had cost me 15 euro. Won't be having burgers again on...

It’s such a mixed bag. Location is great. Food is slightly above average. Prices are expensive. Drinks are hit and miss - some short pours - and then surprisingly the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had - but the second Bloody was nothing like the first. Service is painful - I swear the staff take classes in eye avoidance and walking from task to task without ever looking up or around. Nothing happens until you wave and catch somebodies eye - which can take an eternity. Once the boss/manager lady leaves (at 3pm today) it kinda goes to 💩. Early shift came back to party with tourists and were bringing in their own bottled beers and drinks from outside. Disappointing- there has to be better experiences in this amazing town. Maybe I just caught them on the staff holiday...

Bar De L’oubli offers a great casual spot for lunch with a nice selection of dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. The goat cheese salad was absolutely excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced! However, the service for our large party was just okay. We felt a bit rushed, which took away from the experience, but the food itself did not disappoint. If you’re looking for a quick bite in a convenient location, this is still a solid choice. With a little more attentiveness to larger groups, this spot could easily be a five-star experience!

Not many restaurants on St. Barth are open Sunday night but this is one of the few. We had Chicken burger and Mahi burger, pretty ordinary food a bar offers. I took one star off my rating because this place doesn't take credit card. But you can pay in euro or dollar. Also, we smelled cigar and cigarette smoking (at least two tables have smoking customers) even though it's indoor seating, albeit without walls (the bar is at the corner of two streets and has no walls, and you can see all the interior tables from the street).
