La Croisette - Restaurant — Restaurant in Saint-Brieuc

Please meet the positive exception to the rule that beachfront places need to be rip-offs. La Croisette features a nice and clean art deco decor and pretty much all the good stuff you would want on your "what I def. need to eat once I am in France / at the Atlantic see" wishlist. After having had a nice dinner, a nice lunch we dared to have a freshly done lobster here - and it was really a fair deal and quality wise amazing (130 € for 2, with shrimps rose + gambas as started, then the lobster for 2, 2 glasses of Champagne as well as Chardonnay - def. a good deal!). Lots of people there seemed to enjoy the seafood platters with txangurro etc. a lot - I'll do that next time. No reservations here, but a really good process management, so normally not a problem if you come a little bit off...

PANORAMIQUE, VUE MER IDÉALE MAIS...!! LA CROISETTE, QUE DIRE DE LA CROISETTE. UNE RÉPUTATION QUI, CE SOIR VIENT D'ÊTRE ENTACHÉE, TERNIE PAR LE PROPRIÉTAIRE POUR NE PAS DIRE LE PATRON DU RESTAURANT. MONSIEUR JE VEUX... SE FAIRE REFUSER UN CAPPUCCINO EN SOIRÉE ALORS QU'IL Y A DES TABLES SERVIES À L'EXTÉRIEUR ET INTÉRIEUR, DES CLIENTS ENCORE À TABLE... JE SOUHAITAIS SEULEMENT UNE BOISSON CHAUDE, MONSIEUR ME DIT-IL, JE PEUX VOUS SERVIR UNE GLACE... UNE GLACE ?? CELUI-CI SERT DU CHOCOLAT CHAUD AU GOÛTER AVEC CRÊPES À LA CLÉ... LORSQU'IL N'Y A PLUS DE PAPIER TOILETTE DANS LES WC ET QUE L'ON A, PAR CHANCE, DES MOUCHOIRS EN PAPIER. NOUS SOMMES BIEN OBLIGÉS D'APPORTER LE NÉCESSAIRE. VOUS OBLIGE-T'ON À VOUS CHANGER DE SOUS VÊTEMENTS LORSQUE VOUS ESSAYEZ UN PANTALON OU AUTRE DANS UN MAGASIN CLASSE OU PAS. ET BIEN NON... DOMMAGE POUR VOUS. LA PETITE DAME QUI VOUS A SOURI EN ARRIVANT ET QUI SE FAIT JETER JUSTE PARCE QU'ELLE AURAIT SOUHAITÉE UN CAPPUCCINO QUE VOUS SERVIREZ À VOS CLIENTS EN FIN DE REPAS, A FINI À LA RUE. ELLE A ÉTÉ SERVIE PAR LA ROTONDE CASINO VAL-ANDRÉ SANS PROBLÈME. NOUS SOMMES DES CLIENTS À L'ANNÉE. VOUS NE VISEZ QUE VOTRE CHIFFRE D'AFFAIRE DE LA JOURNÉE ET DE LA SAISON LE MEA-CULPA DE LA SOIRÉE FINIT EN BEAUTÉ, À LA CROISETTE DU VAL-ANDRÉ QUI N'A PAS MÉRITÉE D'ÊTRE EN HAUT DU PODUIM. CE N'EST QUE DU VENT, FOUETTÉ PAR LES EMBRUNS DES MARÉES SUR LE REBORD DE LA DIGUE VENANT SE BRISER CONTRE LA VITRINE DE CE RESTAURANT PEUT ACCUEILLANT. QUELLE ARROGANCE... QUELLE LAME TRANCHANTE... QUELLE DÉSOLATION... LA CROISETTE

DÉSOLÉE POUR LES FAUTES D'ORTHOGRAPHE, VOUS NE VOYEZ QUE CELA EN FAIT... SURTOUT À UNE HEURE TARDIVE, 1 HEURE DU MATIN. VOUS CONNAISSEZ L'AUTO-CORRECTION, C'EST PETIT, VENANT DE VOTRE PART. VOUS QUI ME RATTRAPEZ DEHORS. QUE DE BLA, BLA ... VOUS QUI SENTIEZ L'ALCOOL À PLEIN NEZ. À...

Deux fois nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant, et 2 fois de trop ! La choucroute de la mer avec une sauce gorgée d'eau, un coquillage dans l'assiette rempli de vase, un poisson clairement trop cuit (il faudra leur dire qu'un poisson se sert nacré...). Le second déjeuner n'a pas été mieux. Une gérante clairement peu sensible aux remarques et plutôt même à le prendre mal plutôt que de s'en excuser et offrir le désert en contrepartie... bref, une femme qui ferait mieux de faire autre chose que du commerce. Un personnel tout de même assez professionnel mais pour le reste, passez votre chemin. C'était bien mieux avant, du temps de l'ancienne décoration, nous n'y retournerons plus de tout évidence...

En réponse au retour fait par la gérante de cet établissement le 20 septembre. Je vous remercie d'essayer de me faire passer pour un menteur, c'est encore une fois de plus très commercial et d'une grande élégance. Mais je confirme bel et bien que je vous parle de la décoration avant que vous ne repreniez cette affaire. Décoration orchestrée par feu l'architecte Brestois Yves Grange sur le même modèle que le restaurant La Croisette à La Baule. Et concernant les coquillages, je vous remercie, je fais également de la pêche à pieds, et je ne vous parle pas de sable mais de vase. Coquillage qui peut-être retiré avant service. Et je confirme bien votre présence à moins qu'une de vos employées se fasse passer pour la gérante, mais cela m'étonnerai beaucoup... Le déjeuner était bel et bien un dimanche midi... Votre réponse n'est en rien surprenante, puisqu'elle est identique à celle que nous avons eu de votre part lors de...
