Read moreWe loved this place! We wanted oysters (since Cancale is the oyster capital of France) and Au Pied d'Cheval was an excellent choice. We were thrilled by the choice and the prices. But mostly by the taste. I have never tasted oysters quite as delicious as these Brittany oysters. Most in our party agreed. Our party of 6 must have eaten about 10 dozen.
A few of us tried the fish soup based on recommendations. I found that pretty tasty too.
