We are on vacation and wanted to enjoy a nice evening in a good looking and recommended restaurant. However, our expectations were not met.

The welcome was very warmly. Everything happened very very quickly. We had just gotten our drinks/appetizers, then our food arrived the next minute.

We were looking forward to the Moules all day, as these are a favorite dish here by the sea.

At first we thought there were individual weird moules in between, but it turned out the whole pot was the same. The moules were overcooked, dry and there was absolutely not enough soup/sauce on top. The fries were excellent, however, you didn't even get a pot to put sauce on, for the fries. We dumped these into a moules bowl.

During the whole meal no one came to ask us if everything was ok. It was the most unpalatable moules we have ever eaten, and the first meal we did not finish out of disgust.

We waited for the waitress to come and clear our cutlery, but after 10 minutes no one came, despite them all walking past several times. So we just got up, paid and complained the menu at the waiter, who gave us a free portion. The waiter was even upset with the cook himself. He gave us an digestif as compensation. This was all very very nice on his part, he was also very sorry and apologized several times.

On the whole, the restaurant looked very cute, the service seemed actually also very good and fast, but not with us. The dishes of our neighboring tables all looked very good, just...

My First negative review ever: First of all: staff was really nice and quick to serve! Food: Had the 20€ Tuna “Curry”, which was the most tasteless curry I have ever had! Tasted like lightly salted and peppered bland cream sauce…don’t believe one single crumb of any sort of curry spice has ever entered the pot…plus: might be the smallest curry portion I have ever seen! 5 small (!) pieces of tuna and five of the chewiest and smallest prawns I have ever seen in a restaurant…plus maybe 6-7 forks of rice at most. I am sorry, but this was 9€ shopping mall curry level at most, maybe not even that. To serve this sort of curry and portion size at 20€ is almost absurd. Location/restaurant looked nice tho, and staff was nice too, as was the craft beer, hence...

Lovely food, dog friendly inside, and our waiter was so friendly and helpful bringing water for the pooch, cleaning it all up after she spilled it all over the floor, and was just an all round great person. No view of the bay but all restaurants on the front were packed, and we much preferred the quieter experience here. Will most definitely be going back.
