We had the most amazing day at Tropics Beach Bar in Grande Case. OMGOSH!! Firstly, we are staying in AXA. I am a repeater having been 7-8x over the years. I have also been to SXM many times since 1987. I love Grande Case. We have stayed at Le Petit Hotel and love the French vibe. Today we spent the beach at TBB. We were warmly greeted and told there were no more chairs. We were welcomed to sit at the bench area but soon, amazing Cedric and Matthew created a lovely space with the most comfortable chairs. Service was flawless. Matthew delivered one of my beverages to me as I swam!! Food, pfft..off the charts. Our fish sandwich was made with the freshest mahi mahi I have had in the years of living in the Caribbean. No mind you, AXA is known for amazing food but nothing so far could touch the culinary level at Tropics. Our bill with wine, a few cocktails, sparkling water and a salad and entree was 96...

One of my friends ordered the ribeye—juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection. I had the lobster, and it was so fresh and tender, I’m still thinking about it. My other friend got the pasta, and let’s just say there wasn’t a single bite left on the plate. No exaggeration—this is hands down the best food I’ve had on the entire island, both French and Dutch side. If you’re in St. Martin and you don’t make a stop at Tropics, you’re seriously missing out. Do yourself a favor and experience it. Trust me, you’ll...

Plus the bay is calmer compared to other beaches so the ease in and out of the water can't be beat. I feel like I got my exercise watching the staff literally run back and forth with food and drinks.
The seafood cassoulet was flavorful and light. The Tropic salad was one of the best things I've eaten on the island. The burgers seemed like a popular choice. Considering how crowded it was on a Sunday where everything else was a ghost town they did a stellar job making...
