Avoid if you have any allergies!!!! Made the staff member aware of my wheat allergy multiple times and asked as many questions as I could. He appeared to have some knowledge because he said he would check the fries as sometimes can have wheat in them. When my fish with vegetables came out, the vegetables were in a sauce which smelt like soy sauce which has wheat in. Luckily I didn’t eat it and asked and it was in fact containing wheat. When we went to leave I said politely that it’s lucky I didn’t eat it and have to go to hospital - the response was that I should have been more careful and it’s not his responsibility to know what has wheat in what ingredients and that he’s not actually interested in allergies. He tried to say allergies are a new thing and that I shouldn’t eat here again because they’re not interested. Happy to act interested to get us to take a seat though. Food was rubbish too. Would absolutely avoid… asked if a fish dish contained gluten, and was advised it was ok only to find vegetables all cooked in soy sauce AND the discussion with the waiter afterwards gets even worse.

Luckily realised it would cause an allergic reaction before eating it, however when we told the waiter he practically said that WE should be more careful about what we order… despite asking if it contained gluten even before ordering it.

When disputing it he practically said they didn’t care about allergies as they had been cooking this way for 25 years.

On top of that the food was genuinely poor anyway, ‘medium’ steak was tough as boots and fries had clearly been cooked about 3 hours ago.

Food was ok. Unpleasant discussion about onion vs shallots as friend was asking to have a dish without onion being alergic. Dish had an onion. Waiter and staff had an unpleasant way of convincing us that in the dish was shallots not onion and explained that it is not the same...We tried to tell that we know it is not the same but still belongs to the same vegetable family.... They should be at least humble, showing some manner and not act smart. We are not all French and Chefs but doesn't mean that we don't have a basic eduction or opinion. I would not recommend restaurant and eat again there only because of staff arrogance, ignorance and attitude. Advise for the staff to...
