Linda Beach — Restaurant in Sartène

We visited this beach bar hoping for a laid-back evening, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment.

We started by ordering a variation of mojitos, but communicating in English was nearly impossible. That alone wouldn’t be a big deal, but what followed was just plain unprofessional. The waiter turned to the bartender, said something in French, and then they both laughed while glancing at us. It honestly felt really dismissive.

After waiting far too long, we finally received our drinks—completely wrong, and not even close to what we had ordered. We tried to explain the issue, but again, there was zero effort to understand or correct the mistake.

We also ordered mussels and fries, which were fine, but definitely nothing special and wildly overpriced.

When the bill arrived, it was clearly inflated, so I asked to speak to the owner. That only made things worse. Instead of being helpful or even polite, he was aggressive and defensive right away—no apology, no explanation, just attitude. Then he told us we had to pay in cash because their POS machine was “broken”, which at that point felt more like a scam than a technical issue.

Between the mocking staff, wrong orders, overpriced food, and a confrontational owner, one visit was more than...

Sadly our beach day here was not great.

Beach server was obviously drunk from morning to night catering to other tables and we watched him drink people’s drinks. Only attention to people who were super wealthy and ignored the call button all day. Was like running a triathlon to get his attention.

You pay for a beach bed to enjoy the service it comes with and we were completely let down. By 3pm the bill was left on our table and even though we wanted to order more.

However, our lunch was great and the men working dining service was very attentive. Even though the guy working the beach service tried to take our beach front table to cater to the wealthy family he wanted to escort to the table with.

Save your money and go to Da Mare - 5 minutes walking. Parking is included and it’s more high end for the same price you...

Avoid this place at all costs... It's an absolute rip-off. Everything in the menu is overpriced, portions are tiny, food arrives late and you get treated rudely by cocky personnel. WARN OF CAUTION Beware of the fake positive reviews that recognize personnel by their names. These are most likely people working at the bar. It's very unlikely that you get to meet all the people when you go to a place.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS... you won't only lose your money but your good holiday...
