Tamaricciu — Restaurant in Sartène

I have been going to this restaurant with my husband for 9 years and the last 3 years I have become disillusioned with the quality of food and service. This year I was so disappointed that this was the last visit to this restaurant and we will not recommend it to guests from our hotel either. We ordered the fish of the day and it had a very strange smell and was dry. The side dish with the fish was disappointing... The oil and balsamic vinegar for the salad were of very low quality... The products in general are of low quality and most are deep fried. 251 euros for two and disappointed.

And last week our hotel guests got poisoned...

The food is absolutely fantastic, beautifully-presented and very tasteful. We ate there on several occasions while visiting Corsica and always chose the dish of the day and one from the menu. Don't miss out on the desserts as those are very good too! All the compliments to the chef! To accompany your food you can choose from a great selection of wine or just order a cocktail that will be carefully prepared for you. We rented chairs and an umbrella, ate lunch and got drinks and service from Karim (who is 10 stars and the best thing about this place). Location is amazing, parking is good. Family friendly. The ceviche, beef tartare, Greek salad and pizzas were all great. Cocktails and champagne - also good. The price was over the top for both the chairs and the food but the gorgeous beach and the service was worth it for one day of splurging.
