Le Petit Chose Palombaggia — Restaurant in Sartène

We had a lovely set of beds over looking the sea-premium price but worth it. The lady who was serving this area was delightful and friendly and we couldn’t fault her service. Unfortunately this does not extend to the restaurant staff. We went for our lunch and the restaurant was at approximately 20% capacity and it was 14:30 (so the end of lunch), we were sat right in the sun whilst everyone else enjoyed the shade. When we moved into the shade you would have thought that I had carried out a hideous crime, we were met with waves and disgust as we were told to move, in case they needed a larger table-trust me when I say there were plenty of 4, 6 and 8 people tables available. So we left, in the meantime whilst actually writing this review I watched the staff sit a three person family at a 6 person table where we were refused-I wish I could photograph this. We are easy going people that are well travelled so this certainly is not a reflection of us. My advice go next door to Del Mar where they are fantastic and use the car park here as...

We also had a very bad experience. With the parking guard. We had rented 2 beachbeds and our car was out side of the parkinglot, I wanted to get something out of the car. The man indicated that I had to go back to the beach. Because it was a private place. I wanted to explain that I wanted to get something out of my car. But before I knew, I was threatened with pepperspray!! The man ren at me and sceams go back to the beach!! I was shocked and went back to the beach. Later when I walked accross the beach to my car and drive allong the entry of Le Petit. I realised the beachbeds that we had rented was the same company. So I was a customer !!! and spend money over there! It is truely sad that somebody can mess it up for this nice place. If I read the reviews, I'm not the first to have a nasty experience with...

It was a beautiful spot, unfortunately the service quality is seriously horrible. They never treated me like that before in any place in my entire life. The place wasn’t busy at all but it took them a while to attend us. Afterwards, they put us a menu to have a look from 1 meter and a half far away but 2 minutes after, they decided to take it for another table without asking if we were done at all... (and all fo that after asking to see the menu during 5 minutes, which it isn’t supposed to happen). It took them another 20 minutes to take us the note to order our dinner.

Thanks for nothing, I’ll never go back (and I even haven’t tried their food yet... I’m still in a table waiting for the food in their terrace...). Sorry if I’m not a superstar in order to be attended...
