A restaurant situated away from the tourist centre. We had a very delicious meal - have eaten lots of duck breasts on this trip and tonight’s was the most tender with a delicious combination of flavours. The beef also tasty with fresh seasonal vegetables. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you eat here!

De passage sur saumur, nous avons testé ce restaurant gastronomique possédant de bonnes critiques. Accueil sympathique après réservation dans cet établissement à faible capacité d'accueil intérieur ou il vaut mieux réserver. Décoration sobre et moderne. 1 seul menu le soir à 34 euros pour une entrée, un plat et un dessert ou 30 euros en retirant 1 choix. L'assiette est soignée et savoureuse avec des portions assez limitées. 1er bémol : PAS DE MENU POUR ENFANT. Toutefois, la serveuse propose gentillement de modifier l'assiette. 2ieme bémol : le menu modifié composé de l'entrée classique, d'un morceau de poisson nature et de deux boules de glace est facturé 34 euros. La carte des vins est fournie et de bonne qualité. A noté la gentillesse des 2 serveuses. Malgré la petite déconvenue concernant le menu adapté, le restaurant tient son rang mais sans plus.

Excellent excellent food. Go for the: shrimps as a starter, the rack of lamb as main, and the French toad for desert. They are all great. The menu is in French only, but the waiter is very helpful. Reservation is probably advised. We came on a Monday, off season, and it was packed.

Awesome restaurant, friendly helpful staff and excellent skilled chef / owner (who we had the pleasure to meet with after our dinner). Cozy spot in the garden to dine at, food was delicious and creative. The wines recommended and served were amazing too (complementing all the dishes we ate so nicely).

Short 5-10mins stroll from the centre of the town, highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant which we discovered by chance upon a recommendation by one of our hotel reception staff (who said it is her fav restaurant to eat at in Samur!). Please visit and enjoy as much as we did...thank you for an excellent...

Really wanted to have dinner here, but no room so we had to settle for lunch. It was a very nice experience. Food was very well done and delicious. The terrace at the back was beautiful and offered a nice escape from the sun. Nice drinks, friendly and helpful staff. Reservation ahead is a must. Parking is limited to street parking so give...
