Food of the starter is ok, but the kitchen and waiters have poor communication. Long waiting for the plat (main), poor decoration on your plate (=only fries, no salad or whatever), and the ordered peppersauce didn’t come. When I asked for the peppersauce they told me it was finished. Please don’t let the guest order it and give an alternative instead of letting me guess where and when the sauce will come. After ordering the desert - the Pavlova was still finished, it didn’t come either. I again had to ask where the desert came, at that moment the waiter went to the kitchen to arrange it. Finally, the deserts where not included in the formula entre-plat-desert but was billed separately for €8 each. This altogether is like a tourist trap. We waited over an hour for food that never arrived. We asked staff three times what was going on and only got a mumbled ‘j’arrive’ as a response. There was no ownership of the problem and no explanation. From the way the staff were twittering around, I assume they lost our order but, again, no one could confirm anything as no one handled the issue. It could have easily been salvaged with an apology and making sure our food was expedited. Sadly we just walked out and by this time everything else had shut. Called in today for lunch. I’m coeliac and said straight away I needed food that was ‘sans gluten’. I was initially told that I could have the steak and salad, which would have been fine. I then asked if I could have smoked salmon as an entree. The waitress went to ask an older lady & then returned to say ‘we don’t do gluten-free’. Their whole manner had been very unhelpful & dismissive throughout and they clearly couldn’t care less and didn’t want to find a solution which, looking at the menu, would have been relatively straightforward.
