Hotel Restaurant Villa Katz — Restaurant in Saverne

My partner was taken ill on route to Calais and taken to hospital in Saverne. Hence I had an unexpected 3 night stay at The Villa and I cannot recommend this hotel/restaurant highly enough. ||It is a beautiful boutique hotel, the manager and staff were so helpful, very amenable and flexible with my difficult situation. The food was top notch and the surroundings calm and serene. Hotel decor and rooms are delightful. The perfect venue for a wedding or small event, or just for a visit to Saverne which is a lovely town. I hope to return soon under better...

We loved this hotel! It’s a sprawling old, eclectic villa with huge gilded mirrors and very spacious rooms (tasteful interior design.) Our suite had a foyer and a very large bedroom with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom with original tiles was clean and sunny. The meal was first class - caprese with ham, an amazing fish ragout, veal cutlet, and salad with terrine. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast buffet provided something every taste - croissants, bread, jam, cake, varied...
